Lizzie is able to provide supervision to other Speech and Language Therapists and newly qualified Speech and Language Therapists. She can supervise paediatric Speech and Language Therapists who work in a range of settings such as schools, nurseries, clinics, and client's homes.
“Supervision is the formal arrangement that enables an SLT or assistant practitioner to discuss their work regularly with someone who is experienced and qualified. It's an essential component of a good quality speech and language therapy service that is able to respond to service users, identify and manage risk” (RCSLT).
training
We can provide bespoke training to your school or nursery, depending on your needs and requirements. Examples of some training we are able to offer includes:
- Developing an understanding of Speech, Language and Communication Difficulties, and being able to identify when a child has a Speech, Language or Communication Difficulty.
- Ways to support children with Speech, Language and Communication Difficulties and/or emotional and behavioural difficulties in the classroom.
- How to help children with additional needs to access the curriculum
- Ways to develop Speech and Language in everyday activities and during play .
