Speech and Language Therapy
Speech and Language Therapy sessions take place at our Sidmouth clinic, your child's nursery/school or home. Therapy goals will be written and discussed with you prior to your child starting therapy so you are clear about exactly what we will be working on and why. Therapy sessions are designed to be engaging, motivating and interactive.
You are welcome to attend the therapy sessions so that they you can observe what strategies are being used and develop your understanding of your child's communication needs. Sessions will also include time to discuss ways that you can support your child at home to develop their speech and language skills.
Therapy targets will be reviewed regularly and sometimes it will be recommended that your child has a short break from therapy in order to consolidate the skills they have learnt.
Therapy sessions are either 45 or 60 minutes, and cost £45 or £60 respectively.
